When was the last time you visited our office for a routine hygiene examination and cleaning? If it has been longer than six months, you are due for an appointment. We recommend patients visit our office every four to six months, depending on the state of their oral health. During these appointments, we not only thoroughly clean your teeth, but we also check your mouth for issues such as decay and gum disease. Unfortunately, dental problems do not heal on their own and will continue to progress until you receive treatment. Delaying dental care increases your likelihood of experiencing a dental emergency, and the holiday season is one of the worst times of year for that to happen.
