A popular tooth replacement option

A popular tooth replacement option

If you have lost many or all the teeth in the upper or lower dental arch, our experienced dentists may recommend replacing them with dentures. We offer complete and partial dentures, and will work with you to find the type of denture that is right for your particular needs.

Full Dentures

Full dentures are made to replace all of your teeth along the upper or lower dental arch or both. They are fabricated from highly durable, natural-looking material to look flawless in your mouth. Dentures are removable, unless supported by dental implants, and need to taken out at night and cleaned daily with special denture care products. Modern dentures are comfortable and look more like natural teeth than ever before.

Partial Dentures

Like full dentures, partial dentures are made to replace a number of missing teeth, but not necessarily all of your teeth. A partial denture is fabricated in such a way that it fills in the gaps left behind by missing teeth. When in place, a partial denture should blend in seamlessly with your remaining teeth. A partial denture is also removeable and needs to be taken out at night and cleaned daily with special dental care products.

Which dentures are right for you?

Only your dentist can determine which tooth replacement options will best suit your needs. However, you do have a choice in the matter, and we will work closely with you to make sure your budget and lifestyle needs are fully met.

What is a dental inlay?

If you have minor tooth decay, your dentist may use a dental inlay instead of a filling when the cavity is in the middle of your tooth rather than along the edge. A dental inlay is made of pre-molded, tooth-colored composite material or porcelain and fits into the top grooves of a tooth.

What is a dental onlay?

We use dental onlays to repair teeth with more extensive damage that has spread to edge of the tooth, or the biting surface. An onlay is made the same way as an inlay, but it is made to cover the higher points around the edges of the tooth.

Getting a dental inlay or onlay

Getting a dental inlay or onlay is a straightforward process, similar to a filling, but with an extra step. First, your dentist will numb the area involved and clean out the decayed material with special tools. Once all the decay is removed, the dentist will take an impression of your tooth and fabricate your inlay or onlay in house using our CEREC machine to match the color of your tooth. Dental inlays and onlays are virtually invisible and usually last longer than regular fillings.
