Encourage Your Teens To Be Proactive About Their Oral Health
February 15, 2024Don’t Delay. Schedule an Appointment Today!
If we recommended a dental treatment for you or a loved one during your last visit, it is important that you schedule your appointment and visit us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, dental decay and other issues do not heal over time, and the longer you delay a treatment, the higher the risk that the condition will worsen. Delaying treatment also opens the door to a dental emergency, additional treatments, and added expenses. For example, if you have a cavity and we recommend a filling, but you don’t schedule the treatment, the decay will continue to grow and move further into the tooth. If the cavity becomes too large, we will recommend a dental crown, and if the decay moves into the tooth root, a root canal will be the only option before an extraction is required.
Be Honest With Us
If you have postponed a recommended treatment because of nerves or uncertainty over the procedure, we encourage you to be honest with us. We are happy to explain everything in detail to help you feel more comfortable while in our care. We never judge anyone for their feelings or the state of their oral health. We are here to help you restore the function and aesthetics of your teeth and mouth.
